The first Dead show at the Boston Garden went down on this day back in 1973, and it was a doozy. A sizzling China> Rider and monster Playin' highlight the first set, while things really get going in the second with a breathtaking Here Comes Sunshine> Me and Bobby McGee followed up by a stunning WRS Prelude> Eyes> China Doll. Jerry and Phil switched sides of the stage - for good - as the Dead opened the spring East Coast tour on this day back in 1982.
