In a 1985 show filled with sparkling transitions, the boys finish out their two-night run at the Frost in style. While the China> Rider is scintillating, the Playin'> China Doll> Playin'> Drums> Space> Playin'> Wharf Rat in the second half makes the night. On the penultimate night of the spring '71 tour, the boys delivered another doozy. Jerry sends a magnificent Dew, Pig struts through Hard to Handle, and everyone comes in on a mind-altering Dark Star> Stephen> NFA> GDTRFB> NFA, including TC, who sits in for the latter portion of the show. While there are not many clips of the Dead at the Fillmore, the Hard To Handle from that 1971 show serves as the soundtrack for a fantastic series of archival clips from press conferences, publicity shoots, various shows, and life on tour.
