Replete with best-ever versions, the Dead show from this day in 1975 is off the hook delicious. Starting with a Help> Slip> Franklin, the boys never look back, debuting The Music Never Stopped, sending out one of only two Sage and Spirits they ever did (out of a feisty Other One jam), and playing a phenomenal Eyes and Sugaree along the way. Fire up this heady show at Grateful Dead of the Day.
The first set on this 1991 night at Cal Expo has a number of highlights, including fresh and youthful vocals from Jerry on Sugaree, a tight Walkin' Blues, and an inventive set-closing Let It Grow. A fast paced Foolish Heart with Bruce and Vince combining on some twinkling keys gets things going in the second half before a nice Eyes and Watchtower> Black Peter out of Space. The show also has the last Black Muddy River before the summer of 1995. Check out the entire night.
