The show gets started after Jerry yells “bloody murder” and Phil kindly wishes everyone a “Merry Christmas.” Then the boys go into a rare electric Deep Elem. There is also a lusty King Bee, a spicy Cumberland, and a delightful Bobby McGee among other fine tunes. But the highlight is surely the Good Lovin', introduced by Phil's reverberating bass and then taken over by Jerry and Pig. While there is a bit of debate about the exact setlist, everyone who was there remembers that a large trashcan of dosed apple cider was available to all comers. Give the show a listen - with or without the cider - at Grateful Dead of the Day.
