From Grateful Dead of the Day

1974 was magical, and this show is a truly special one from that year. From the US Blues opener to the Baby Blue encore, the show is pure ecstasy. The magnificent Weather Report Suite and absolutely face-melting Dark Star> Morning Dew somehow manage to surmount the remainder of the night, but just listen to all the ethereal goodness at Grateful Dead of the Day.

You can argue which show of the epic six-show run at the Capitol Theater in 1971 is best, but there is no doubt that the Dead storm out of the joint on a high note with this final show. Take it all in and enjoy.
