February is, arguably, the best month of shows for the band. There is the incredible Neal Cassady memorial show from the Carousel Ballroom in 1968, the Dane County monster from '78, the 1969 progenitor of Dark Star and Stephen from Live/Dead, the opening of the '77 campaign at the Swing, and so many other amazing shows during this month. However, the Dead never played on the 29th of February. So, we encourage you to go back and appreciate the rest of the month or, if you must have a show from the 29th, make it the 29th of March in 1990 with Branford out at Nassau Coliseum.
