From the inimitable Greek Theatre, the Dead delivered a lusciously heady show on this day in 1985. Everyone contributes throughout the night from Brent serving up some ferocious keys on Minglewood to Phil's bombs in Rider to the drummers powerful takeover of Terrapin. Right from the Promised Land opener, the first set set at the Beacon on this day in '76 is off the charts. But the second half with its Stephen> NFA> Stella opener and Dancin'> Wheel> Sugar Mags> Scarlet> Sunshine Daydream is just too much for words. Blow your mind by giving it all a listen.
