On this day back in 1976, the boys sent out an immaculate pairing of Cassidy and Peggy-O and the last of far too few Dead versions of Mission in the Rain. Then there is a Playin'> Wheel> Playin' that may only be topped by the Stephen> NFA> Stephen that follows it. It is a superb show; giving it a good listen at Grateful Dead of the Day will make your day better, no doubt!
On another June night under the stars with the Grateful Dead back in '84, the Dead put in one of the strongest outings of the tour. An incredible run of Scarlet> Touch> Dear Mr. Fantasy> Man Smart takes the second set into Drums, and things don't let up afterwards with The Wheel coalescing out of Space before a nasty Other One> Black Peter. Check out all the early summer action.
