Though the boys played the first Dire Wolf ever and outstanding versions of Dark Star, The Eleven, and Doin' That Rag during a splendid rager of a show on this day in '69, the highlight was clearly when Janis joined them on stage for a throw down Lovelight alongside Pig. Jerry calls part of these ‘75 hiatus rehearsals "stunning," and who are we to argue with that assessment. Clearly not all of this material is actually from June 7th, but these tunes and the banter are absolutely worth a listen. Click on through!
