Arguably the best show of the spring tour '91 went down on this day at the Greensboro Coliseum. A magisterial 24-minute Eyes into a Playin' with a heavy Dark Star tease served as the crux of the evening, but the boys display that characteristic early 90s jazz-heavy, MIDI-infused, keys-laden righteousness throughout. The entire show from this day in '73 will surely blow your mind, but the latter portion of the second set will melt your face too. It's a He's Gone> Truckin'> Drums> Other One> Spanish Jam> Rider, Sugar Magnolia that contains multitudes, ranging across the Andalusian Plain, extraterrestrial space, a dark hollow in the Blue Ridge, and everything in between.
