Bruce always seemed to bring out the best in the boys. And he certainly does that during this show from Shoreline in 1991, keying jams and goading on the rest of the band at every turn. This show might also set some sort of record for most Dylan covers, which is just fine with us when they play them this well. Listen to the entire night at Grateful Dead of the Day.
Many Heads consider this show one of the weaker of the Europe ’72 tour. But that still puts this night in heady company. And there are more than a few standout moments. After all, the Dead put the He’s Gone on Europe ’72 and many consider The Other One to be among the very best the band every played. Listen to it for yourself. The one thing we guarantee is that you won't be disappointed!
