In their penultimate show of the Europe '72, the boys delivered another powerful performance, including, arguably, the best Dark Star of the tour. Other highlights include the China> Rider and paired Good Lovin' and Playin'. And it all occurred in the confines of the Lyceum Theatre, built in 1765, just off the Strand in London. Give the show a listen at Grateful Dead of the Day.
The Scarlet> Fire from the Mosque in Richmond back on this day in May ’77 is one of the best, breezy and untroubled with a brilliant transition. The show also has a tremendous He’s Gone and a heady Other One> Wharf Rat> Other One> The Wheel. And don’t miss Jerry give his best Chuck Berry impression in the Around And Around and Johnny B. Goode that caps everything. Treat yourself to the whole show at Grateful Dead of the Day.
