In anticipation of returning from their hiatus back in ‘76, the Dead spent time at Club Front, their erstwhile studio and clubhouse of sorts, rounding the music into form and recapturing some of their extrasensory communication powers. Listening to some of the laid-back and spacey renditions of Lazy Lightning, Eyes, Playin', Attics, Cassidy, and other familiar favorites, its hard to believe the boys even needed the tune-up. Give the sessions a listen yourself.
