The Playin' from today’s 1972 show is known as one of the best ever and with good reason. It is blistering and never lets up as jam after jam comes at you in rapid-fire succession. It is so fiery, the tune is almost exhausting to listen to. Steel yourself and rock to the Playin' and the rest of the extant music from the night at Grateful Dead of the Day.
