There is nothing like a show at the Greek, and the boys delivered another dandy there on this day in 1981. Jerry is en fuego throughout, and you will not want to miss a moment of it. The Bird Song> Cassidy will give you goosebumps, and the Estimated> Eyes will surely steal your face. Give a listen to it all at Grateful Dead of the Day.
Capping a three-night run at the Spectrum on this day back in 1990, the first set builds to a heady Althea and stellar Let It Grow, replete with roaring, fecund jams. The second half features a Playin'> Crazy Fingers> UJB and one of only three Handsome Cabin Boy jams. Filled with both hope and trepidation, the movement proves to be the perfect segue into the searing melancholy of an apocalyptic Morning Dew. Take it in now.
Don't sleep on this 1985 video of the Help> Slip> Franklin's from the Kaiser in Oakland.
