The boys played 16 shows in Maine, including a beauty on this day in 1980. The Sugaree - one of the best of the 80s - and Stranger highlight the first set while the second is just filled with goodies including a luscious Althea and massive Playin' sandwich. At Red Rocks in ‘83, Jerry and Brent weave a luminescent, cascading tapestry in Bird Song and a sizzling Lazy Lightning ignites into a full-on crown fire of a Supplication in the first half. Later, a Help> Slip> Franklin's with an absolutely off-the-hook Slipknot! leads to a monster Playin' with a lengthy transformative jam into Drums.
